damaged spider 1750 for sale

Hello to everyone.
I am selling my spider 1750 that had a frontal collision.
It is twisted left/right and up.
Some people told me they can repair.
I chose not toé

Before the accident, I went through an exhaustive restauration.
Not only cosmetic. Everything was replaced or repaired.
(If needed, I have several pictures of the body work that was done on it)

So, anyone that needs a rear end, here is your chance.
All body parts are in exceptional condition.
rear fenders, inner wheels, all rockers, doors, gas tank, spare tire booth, trunk hood, floors were mint but passenger side got twisted a bit at the front...
The driver side front fender is n0t that badly hit.
It is an original fender I bought from Italy

all mechanical is NOT part of the sale.
I am switching it in a new shell I bought last winter.
(Hi Bruce !!)

Please inquire to know what comes with the car
Pictures show Panasport mags but the car is sold with its original wheels.

If interested, I can share a lot more pictures that will indicate the exceptional condition the car was.

I am located in Montreal.
...French canadian that explains the basic mistakes in my spelling, lol

If needed, I can bring the car to Champlain border (NY), one hour from home, if it makes it easier for US buyers.

I am offering the car like this in case someone looks for a rear end to fit its front.¸
THE CAR IS NOT DECLARED AS A SEVERE DAMAGED CAR

However, parts can be disassembled as well.
Thank you for having read my post.
Yves

Glad you weren't hurt. I am guessing your body might be sore. Scary to have an accident and maybe see your life flashing before your eyes.

gprocket can fix it I'm sure.

alfa 1750

May be interested in some parts particularly since I'm in Montreal. Is the windshield intact? (and removable) Also the condition of the doors and windows/mechanism? Are you parting it out or is your preference to sell the whole thing?
Thanks, G

yes you are right.
when the girl decided to cross the double lines right in front of me, I told myself ''that's it, I'm gone''
lucky enough, she didn't hit me square but a bit in diagonal.
... and that no car was behind me.
so I guess, all together, i can thanks who ever is looking over me

Gprocket approached me to have info
I guess he felt the price was too high.
never heard back from him. Lol

Hi Geoff

If it fits someone need, I rather like selling the all thing.

Unfortunetly, the windshield is cracked.
Doors and its mechanism are in perfect shape.

Why don't you come take a look at it and discuss about options?
I provide latté or wine depending of your preference Lol

Hi Scott
I will need couple of weeks in order to remove what needs to go in the body shell I bought.
Where are you located?
Can you pick it up in Montreal?

I once gave to someone the price of $8 500 USD
Never heard from him after that...I guess the asking price was not realistic (?)

So, since I do not want to spend the rest of my life on this, I would lower pricing to around $6 000 USD, depending on what we agree the car comes with, as parts.
Less than that, I would dismantle the car and sell the parts.

so far, we're talking about body parts (that were replaced by originals or repaired in an A1 way), suspension (brand new bushings and parts) springs, shocks (5 000 miles) all direction parts including stearing box, original wheels, windshield (cracked), top structure and canevas (a bit old), a pair of seats... that's about it.

Again, car has not the mention ''severly damaged car''.

if interested, please call me on my cell

[QUOTE=gprocket;7621146]I'm confused, is this the same car that you posted in 2012?

Hello
I can understand you're confused a bit. LOL
Yes. It's the same car.
You will think I am a bad driver, but really I consider myself as a good one.
I had TWO accidents in my owl life.
Both got involved with the Alfa in a 4 years short term.

There was that fist accident in 2012.
An Audi TT driver that was texting on the road.
He stood up on brakes when realizing that trafic was jamed in front of him.
... let's say that an Audi stops in a much better efficient way than an '69 Alfa.

This is when I decided that, rather get simply repair the car, I would do a total restauration.
body and machanichal aspects the were not done yet.
It took almost two years.
you have pictures attached

Then got engine and gearbox totaly rebuiled.

In 2015, after finally having done litteraly everything on it, I drove it for less than 4000 miles when this second hit happened.
you can imagine how I felt at the time!

So yes, same car, two different accidents.
how sweet, is not it? ;-)

I Nick
My first option is to sell it as a single piece.
should my plan changes, I'll let you know
However, you probably can find one closer to you
shipping from Canada to SOuth Africa will cost as much as the part itself, no?
