Need advice importing from Europe

Is it possible to import an Alfa Romeo 166 from Europe or do the emissions/safety regulations get in the way?

I assume you are in the States? If so, no, not going to happen, at least for use as a daily driver. Here is the link to the NHTSA importation rules:

If it can be done, the best bet is to hire a company that is familiar with the process if you have the money, time, and patience.
