Canadian Gtv Owners Please Respond. (wtb)

I still have had no luck finding a GTV for sale. If there are any GTV owners in Canada willing to sell theirs please contact me. (the closer to Calgary, Alberta the better).

’72-’74 GTV 2000
It must be in very good shape.

Dean.

Dean, why limit yourself to Canadian only cars? They are hard to find in "good shape" as you put it.....bringing cars into Canada is really easy nowadays as long as it is over 15 years old. I would take a few trips down to CA check them out and pick one up there.....they are very available and in much better condition than 99% of the Canadian cars...plus your are pretty close to the west coast.

Long story short... I flew to Seattle to buy a GTV in the summer and it didn't work out. I came home with nothing and the whole trip cost me $1300.

I would like to see the car in person so I can inspect it prior to buying.

Can't disagree with that requirement

Loud pipes save lives.

1973 GTV - bought 3/06, intend to keep forever
1969 GTV, #AR1530021 - sold 10/72, guess didn't intend to keep forever
Current project: '69 Corvette bought in '73, DD '73 - '80, in storage 1989-2002, now apart

While I am a little bitter that I did not bring the car home with me I am glad I went to see it first. Someone suggested that I get a local shop to check out the car for me but that still does not help me out. If I can’t see the car for myself it is hard for me to buy it.

I know I could find one in CA. I have already seen many that I was interested in buying but they are too far for me to go. I am keeping my fingers crossed with the hope that I find one by April 2007. If that does not happen I am going to start looking for my second choice (a “Factory Five” or “Superformance” Cobra).
