1969 Alfa GTV Race Car project

I have a freshly started project that I am not going to complete. I will get pictures shortly but wanted to know if there is any value in a rough shell with a newly built full cage and heavily used 2 liter drivetrain similar to the build that was documented by a "diy" on this site. Ultimately trying to build a group 2 HSR car but had to change directions. I have roughly $3k in shell and the cage. I am not expecting to get that back just really don't know whats fair to ask.

Pics and location

I will try to post pictures before the weekend. Keep in mind i selected a rough shell given the purpose of the project. Location is Birmingham, AL. Also, I will try to be as thorough and honest with the description of the shell and associated pieces as I can. Thanks for the interest and I will hold off responding to private messages until I get the pictures posted.

Cage

Oh, the cage should exceed expectations. I had sound advice from a long term racer and we improved on issues with the cage in his car. The actual fabricator is well know for cage work and the welds look very nice.

Included are a two liter motor from a late 80's spider, transmission, rough stock dash, and front and rear glass. I also have a new race seat (entry level momo) and a new racing header (coated and retails for $600-$700) that I would consider including depending on the price.

Condition

Overall mostly surface rust. Rockers aren't as bad as I remembered but the floors are shot. I have paid to have the floors cut and replaced but this hasn't happend yet.

Parts and Price

Car with doors, front and rear glass, 2.0 liter motor and transmission from 89 spider, dash, front and rear lights, additional misc.

I have paid to have flat floors welded into the car. Not Original equipment floors. I believe I could have this done before pickup if interested.

I will try to take a picture of the seat and the actual header. The seat is an entry level MOMO (looks like an FIA Start). The header is a proven and custom piece that is new and coated.

Price: I would be happy to let everything go at $2,500. However, I want it gone and will accept offers / let the market speak. I have more than a few that have contacted me directly and will give priority in the order of receipt.

Additional pictures

I have multiple requests for pictures of trouble spots. I will try to get more photos before the weekend. Floors, rockers, Trunk corners, cage attachment points up front, hopefully the underside.

Regarding the history of the car I am told it was a local one owner car until recently purchased by the shop owner that sold it to me. No serious accidents that I am aware of, it just sat for years not running.

You don't happen to have the original seats available?

I don't have the buttress seats if that is what you are asking. I do have a set of front seats out of a 71 that need to be redone.

Update

I am going to have car towed to my house which will make it easier to get pictures. This might take a couple of days to pull off. I will post additional pictures as soon as I can.
