4th Ebay sale in a year of a 1750 GTV

This GTV 1750 was sold on ebay late 2004 from Michigan to an alfisti in MD, I bought it from him through Ebay in March 2005, sold it in August 2005 on ebay and now it is being sold again, this time from Texas! This car has seen more of the US in a year than most of us.
I guess the only people making money from trading Alfa's are the shipping companies and ebay itself...

What's wrong with the car? Why did you resell it so quickly?

1750 Gtv

I sold it because I had a great opportunity to buy a Giulia Spider.
And, the 1750 needed a paintjob and I was afraid that once I started to take the paint of I would discover much more work than I would be prepared to take on. Car has some, guess what, rust issues... That's why there are no pictures of the bottom....

Do you remember if it has floor or hanging pedals? I'm looking for a S1 with floor pedals, but can't tell what this one is, other than that it's European. The seats are the same as those on U.S. S2s. Is this a Webered car?

Car has hanging pedals, Webers and is an absolute blast to drive. Good gear box, new exhaust. Worth around $5000 IMO and then enjoy the heck out of it.
This is the kind of car that once you start taking things apart, you will end up spending more than the car is worth.

It does appear to be somewhat of a parts-bin car. Four owners in a year tells me all I need to know.
