1958 Guilietta 750 Sprint

Hi guys. Sopp here. Some of you may remember me from a few years back.

Health and wealth, actually the lack there of, forces me to sell my Sprint. Iv'e include the URL to my Photobucket account with lots of pictures of my sweetheart. The pictures emphasize both the good and the bad. Since a picture is worth 1000 words I'll let them do the talking.

The clear title says she is a 1959, but she was manufactured Nov 29, 1957. The engine was completely rebuilt by a very maticulous machinist and never fired up. I put it in clean, dry storage thinking I would get to it soon. You know how that goes. The engine turns over with the starter, and it was stored with Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinders. PO also rebuilt the trans. I do have the rear window, but not the rubber surround. Other than the rear window, what you see is what you get. I do not have the grill, eyebrows, or bumpers.

The pics show that the frame outriggers are badly rusted. The floor pan is good except under the rear storage area. Doors open and close solidly with no sag. Pics also show that a better front clip is included.

Old Cars Price Guide would consider this car to be about a 4 and 1/2 condition. An asking price of $5,000 USD would be reasonable. All offers will be considered. I'm not desperate to sell her, but I have no idea when I will be able to get to her ( that health and wealth thing ). She deserves to be restored by someone.

The car is located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. I would be able to deliver, for a reasonable fee, within 200 miles. Beyond that shipping would be up to the buyer. I will do my best to answer any and all questions.

That was mine!

That looks like my old front clip. Did you get it from a guy who got it from me in Ohio?

Good luck with your sale though. My car is still a project as well.

Yes sir, I picked that up in Ohio. I would call it rather unique and recognisable.

.........and one can tell by the thread title that I'm dyslexic..................
