Alfa Giulia Super FS

Hate to do it, but an exciting race car purchase is forcing the sale of my Super and my step-nose.
'72 Super, originally sold in Italy, titled in California as a 1968, 1968 correct black CA plates, warmed up 2.0L, new paint, new upholstery, 15" Alfaholics GTA wheels, Magnaflow exhaust, extra parts, comes with all new Alfaholics "fast road" suspension kit, bushings, Koni Sports, and some rubber bits... been too busy to install any of it. Its a great driver that just needs some finishing details. If it does sell in the next two weeks, I should have the time then to install the "extra's".

Car has better tow eyes on it now, the above mentioned black plates, and 195 tires not the 205's shown in the sunny pics. Correction on the ad... If it does not sell in the next few weeks, I should have the time to install the new suspension. Right now we are thrashing to make a March 20th race and I do not have much time between now and then.

Hi Greg,

What vintage is the 2 liter and what does it have for induction.? You have the bumpers and all the trim?

It's a beauty, all it needs is AC.

Bill

I do not know what vintage the 2.0L is. The car has Webber 40's on it. I have all the trim except bumpers.

Greg, Does the block have the Spica fuel injection pump mounting features on it (front lower left as you face the engine). The only reason I ask is Alfa also used those features to mount an AC compressor. I got that the exhaust is Magna flow, what header is on it.

I'm going to be in Southern California the 16th to the 23rd of March and would like to come up to see the car. Can I get a phone number where I can reach you?

Thanks,
bill

Yes, it is a Spica block. I do not know what make the headers are... they seem to be longer than others I have seen. I sent you my number via a PM.

Greg, It appears to be an earlier TI/TI Super front grill. Right? What kind of seats are they? TI Super style? Nice car!

I am not sure where the grill came from, it was on the car when I got it. The front seats are from a GTV, the rear seat is oem.

The engine number should be on the flange by the bellhousing by the headers. Listing that will help ID the source block.
Grille is garden variety first-series TI with the small lights replaced by air grilles.

Lots of interest, but no $$$ yet. Willing to drop the price to $16k firm for a speedy sale.
I do not have bumpers for it, but I do have the other trim pieces that go with the car.

Super at super price

People... Come to your senses. This is an in-the-money purchase. This car, and other Alfas are going for cheap, in comparison to a Corolla!!!!

Just buy the car, and have a sensory treat every time you go to the movies, or store, or ripping across the valley at full tilt.

Put some excitement in your life!!! My god, don't just fade away in a snore.

And have a car that will not lose any value for the years to come.

Wake up, everyone. These beautiful, evocative cars are so affordable right now, and oh so thrilling to drive.

Steve
