2 Spiders, great '86, good '79, plus spares $5000 or trade for Jaguar parts car.
It's time to sell - All of it.
I have a VERY nice, original paint, '86 Spider - red with black int. It's always been garaged and well cared for. It has a recent new top, tires, and brake cylinders / pads all around. I had it on a lift, and it looks like it was always a fair weather car. A few weeks ago I drove it a few hundred miles with no problems. It is licenced and taged with regular plates with inspection. Only problem is driver's seat seams coming apart. I'm asking $4500 for this one.
I also have a '78 Spider that someone started to restore, spent a lot of money, then gave up. Recent red paint that looks good only at 20 feet, usable leather seats and interior, nice top, and a nice removable hard top, and strange one-off bumpers. The engine and trans were rebuilt and twin Webbers with headers added. Minor rust work underneath needed. It has a title, too. I'm asking $1500 for this one. The Webbers, manifold, and headers cost almost that much.
I'm selling them both for $5000 along with a few shelves of take-offs from a low milage parts car. Like I said, it's time for it all to go. I restore Jaguars, so I would be open to a pre-1970 Jag parts car trade, a pile of interesting parts, or even a nice one ( along with a bag of money, of course). I'm even open to something strange, British, and nice. No projects, please.
I'm in S.E. Pa. about 50 miles N.W. of Philadelphia. I don't go on line that often, so be patient for a reply.
Thanks for looking,
Phil.
