Is there someone on the board in Great Falls???

Could make for a bit of fun.

I've been seeing nigerian scams sent by puported US military personel. Since I are one I can see thru it, but it seems to be a angle the scamers are willing to try.

I was just about to say the same thing. Is there anyone on the board close to there?

Just tell him you'll be in Great Falls next week and can pay him personally-in cash!

It should get an interesting response.

Purchase protection and refund:
eBay Motors Purchase Protection Program is a subsidiary of eBay Inc., dedicated to insuring safe and honest transaction between online buyers and sellers, especially for deals involving large amounts of money.
Each of our seller clients is required to open a Purchase Protection Account (PPA) which is managed by eBay's Safe Harbor dept. The amount of the account may vary between $1,000 and $20,000, its value limiting the maximum amount which can be covered by eBay's Vehicle Purchase Protection (VPP) for each transaction.
When a seller initiates a transaction with his/her corresponding buyer, eBay Safe Harbor checks the seller's PPA and, if its value is equal or greater than the transaction price, automatically locks it for a period of 30 days from the day the transaction was started.
Once the payment transfer cleared and our eBay representative confirms the payment, we will instruct the seller to start the shipping process. We will hold the funds until you send us your confirmation that you are satisfied with the product you received. As soon as we receive your confirmation we will release the payment to the seller.

Important Notice!
The payment details are confidential and will not be released under any circumstances. Our customer chose this payment method in order to speed up the transaction. Vehicle Protection Program security measures are constantly reviewed and modified given evolving circumstances globally, drawing on both internal assessments and the support of government agencies. Our constant priority is for the safety of our people, our customers, and the general public. Vehicle Protection Program always tries to fulfill its customers needs.

There's one of these scumbags under every rock. It's a hopeless crusade, give up now.

The more time you devote to it and the more thought you give it, the more it will rot your mind.

I called B of A, account and routing # do correspond to the address he gave. Account is a recent account. They are now monitoring for fraud. Guess he waits for deposits to be made then takes funds and closes account. Wish there was a way to nab him.
