1965 Gtc

Selling my 1965 GTC

AR7555536 Eng 00502.16179

All original paperwork (invoice from 1965 sale in Germany, manual, brochure)
I purchased the car last year from a longtime owner in MO, who had not used it much. Richard Stephens / Stephens Alfa in Pompano Beach, FL went through the car, rebuild the original Solex carburators, brakes, engine, radiator, suspension, battery and the car is technically 99%.
I have the original rims, but recently replaced them with Campognolos with new rubber which I think look better and improve handling.
It is a good solid car, no rust. Paint is good, it was repainted in the early 90ies and to make it concours a paintjob should be considered.
I am selling it because I am simply not using it. There is no distressed situation, I own the car free and clear. I had an offer of $38,000 from a Dealer who wants to resell it. I think my car is worth $45,000 and will entertain offers in that price range.
Please pm me for any questions.
More pictures available upon request.
Trade for 911 (2005 and newer, manual, coupe) considered.

update

My apologies for all those who asked for additional pictures.

The garage door spring / coil broke earlier this week, I could only get the parts yesterday. It is fixed now and later today, when the sun comes out in rainy Ft Lauderdale I will make pictures and email them out.

Those garage springs can be a might tricky. Not sure if you have replaced one before, but it is important to get the right spring to the weight of the door. If not you will have issues.

You weight the door by totally disconnecting the door and letting it rest on a bathroom scale.

Sorry to hijack the thread, just trying to be helpful.

Pictures, finally

Sorry for the delay. Have been very busy lately.

Anyway, these pictures were made early this morning. I had a blast with my Alfa over the weekend, she drives great. I am not really motivated to sell, but will entertain reasonable offers for this rare car.

I am interested in your Giulia GTC. I had one back in 1972 when I spent two years in Germany. Mine was white in color and had two tops. A hard and soft top. Does yours have two tops also. I get down to Hollywood FL. often and could look you up or maybe have my sister look at the car. Please Email me with more pictures @ truck54729@yahoo.com. Is it possible to get your password to your flickr account showed in the earlier post? Trying to recapture the past.

gtc pictures

GTC - a set on Flickr

I have (tried to) reload the pictures

By the way, the dealer increased his offer to $40,000

I am toying with the Ebay idea, no reserve, start at $40k

I am open to sensible offers.

All the original paperwork is present, clear title in hand, I spend $7500 with Richard Stephens for a mechanical refit. The car drives perfectly.
I also have the original wheels (5 )

PM me for viewings or questions.

do you know the reason behind the large amount of bondo added to the rockers, rust or accident? you cant even see the body lines anymore between the front, middle and rear rockers.

solid

no bondo here my friend.

why don't you come to FL with a magnet and see it for yourself?

making judgement based on a picture is quite unfair IMO
