Repaired license plate lamp short
Replaced battery with Optima Red and installed battery cut off switch
Replaced tires with Bridgestone RE960 AS Pole Position
Repaired rusted floors $1,600
Replaced transaxle oil with Amsoil severe duty
Replaced rear muffler
Replaced fuel filter
Replaced steering rack with new Alfetta GTV rack
Oil changes with Mobil 1 extended 15/50, BG MOA, and ZDDP additive
Comments from local master mechanic after last service:
Runs strong, looks great underneath, donuts look new.
Comments from prior seller:
Timing belt, water pump, and coolant were replaced in 2006 (Carfax puts this between 84K and 85K miles)
Major engine service including valve job done in 2003 (Carfax puts this between 81K and 84K miles)
Known mechanical issues:
Passenger window goes down under power but requires crank to raise (have not yet diagnosed cause but have new switch and used motor which I will include)
Slow second gear synchros
Slight oil drip from engine and transaxle
Rattling noise near transaxle when idling with car in neutral and clutch out - local master mechanic advised leaving it alone unless it got worse, said it might go another 50K like that - no change in the noise occurred within the last 3,000 miles.
Small leak in windshield washer fluid bottle where motor connects with bottle. I don't drive the car in inclement weather so I drained the fluid.
