1969 Giulia 1300 Ti AR1040810
I bought this car from John Williams Classics in England in May of 2004. Have completely gone through the drivetrain and suspension and it is a terrific daily driver/track day Alfa. This is the car I drove from Connecticut to the Detroit convention 2 years ago without any problems so you know it's reliable. Anybody who saw and heard it on the autocross course knows its fast and sounds fabulous.
Small driver's side wiper scratch; small bubbling just beginning on right rear fender. Paint and body are good but this is a driver not a show car.
Bumpers & correct license plate lights come with the car - both in good condition. It is a really terrific car one you can use immediately without doing a thing. Asking $20,000 and located in Lakeville, CT. Will go on e-bay next week if no one is interested. Thanks.
Imported from England in May 2004.
Very hot 1750 built by Keith Goring.
Mike Valant lightened gear transmission.
New 4:12 limited slip.
Balanced Driveshaft.
Powder coated Spruell competition headers.
2 1/4 SS exhaust with single Magnaflow muffler
Sport Bilsteins, heavier springs, poly bushings, adj upper control arms.
Milano front brakes with IAP vented rotors.
True 14" Minilites not Panasports.
90% original interior in very good shape - Back of rear seat reupholstered.
No cracks in original dash; instruments as new. Original rubber mats in good condition.

Uh, I think the point is that a 1969 is not eligible for the race series he wants to use it for, but a 1967 would be. Lay off a bit. It's a nice car, it will find a home.

I rode with Robert in this car for the Rally in at the Detroit convention, VERY nice car and well sorted. I hadn't really been interested in these before that rally ride but now if I had the space for this I'd be all over it!

Hey Kevin,
Thanks for the kudo - that Rally was fun and winning it wasn't so bad either.

Alfagtv74-
CSRG allows continuation cars, if I'm not mistaken. Contact them through their website to be sure.

vintage racing this car
1969 is legal with SOVREN. who would know anyway? How many race cars have titles? How many late model gtvs and sprites are racing with new dashes etc. Nobody cares about the body.
but . . . the engine is another story
the giulia super never came with a 1750 and there are some obvious differences. There are only a few clubs that would allow the 1750 engine (and those clubs would likely allow a 2L).
That being said, I know of one gtv in SOVREN that was racing with a 2L (which was not around in 1969 except in the monosleeve gtam). And I know another Giulia Super racing with a 1750, so you can pretty much get away with anything. Just don't go smoking everyone and nobody will look too hard at the motor.
