For your information I talked with an ex-Alfa Romeo WTCC driver and we hold the same opinion on modern Alfas and engines.

Unfortunatly the mazda3 speed will be only FWD and should arrive at the dealer in October here in Montreal in 1 color. In the states, 3 choices of color.
I prefer the 6 cause it is AWD even if i prefer hatchbacks.
Drive a Mazda and you ll be amazed by its handling. With the turbo it ll be amazing. 280lbs of torque at 3000rpm if i remember well.

Looks like me Alfa is trying to compete with BMW and Audi, and I don't think they can do it if Alfa's prices are in the same range.
The 8C, at around $100,000 would have buyers that would actually use the car. At $250,000 most of them will be garage queens.

Alfa has to go higher or lower then BMW and all. With the current tech, go lower and undercut them while competing with Acura. Go higher, with V8 and lower weight, but charge slightly more.

In Switzerland, the BMW 330 is almost the same price. The xi is a little pricier, but factoring in depriciation actually cheaper.

BMW base prices here, so Alfa is almost 10000e cheaper than equivalent Audi or BMW.
