the 8C is gorgeous.

BUT . . . i really would not like my italian exotic to sound like a corvette
in that video link with all the classic alfas driving by, the 8C had the least exciting sound, by far . . .

oh sure, its fast, but an exoticar should exude a sense of the exraordinary in all aspects.

Yes but you know the story : Spica injection (waaarrrfff), Giulia chassis, rust and so on...

But when all systems go, this V8 is marvellous.

The only Corvette that sounded like that was racing at Le Mans.. :P that 8c convertible just sounds nasty (thats good).

Ahhh...phone dials! Much better than the BBS-looking junk. Now, paint the black side mirror body colored and black out the silver trim abound the grill and it's perfect! Oh, and knock about $60k off the price, but now I'm just nit-picking....

Can you verify this? If Alfa could make SZ convertibles to compliment their SZ coupes in the early 90's, I don't see why they couldn't do the same for the 8C. Then again, a lot has changed since the SZ and, as your name suggests, Alfa is under new management these days.

In my opinion, the 8C is too beautiful and Alfa would be crazy not to offer a drop top version.
