Thumbs up 4C Great Description

At Motorclassica in Melbourne, I was talking with a collector who bought a Launch Edition C4, and this is his description.
It a mid engine, no frills light weight, car like a Ferrari F40 had sex with with a Fiat 500.
Love it.

Life's to short to drive boring cars.

Hmm. Kind of, sort of.
I own a Launch Edition 4C. Yes, it's mid-engine, no frills and light weight. It does have a strong, downsized resemblance to an F40, but not the Fiat. I've always thought of more as a product of the Ferrari Dino & Lotus Elise combination.

Not as evocative, but I'd say it was the child of two 430 Ferrari Scuderias (right down to the screens that let rain into the engine bay).

I didn't. We weren't allowed test drives two years ago. I sat in it. I drooled all over it. I sort of recall licking it while nobody was looking. I started it. I was blinded by lust and paid 18k over sticker.

That was 29 months ago and I have no regrets. She is my daily driver. I have over 26,000 miles on her. My wife and use her on long trips. Storage is questionable, but we make it work. The long trip was 4,000 miles in three weeks from Los Angeles to Seattle and back. All back roads through the mountains. Perfect car, perfect roads.

Yes, I've tracked her and I take her up into the canyons and push her hard. I drive her rain or shine, day or night, on a boat and with a goat, but avoid the moat.
