Alfa Shop in Tucson
I thought this would be useful information. I spend the summer in Tucson and met a member of the Tucson Alfa Club who gave me the name of a local Alfa mechanic:
Ken Henry
2.1 Automotive
1025 South Pantano
Tucson, AZ
(520) 609-7624
He did great work and is a great guy. He also has some very unique cars in his yard. For example:

And there were three of those!
Hope this helps someone,
Aaron

thanks.
I'm going to buy an alfa in tucson this weekend, and this name is not unfamiliar to me. I'ts nice to know there's someone who is familiar with my vehicle.

I visit tucson every year so it will be nice to be able to take the 164 down their and not have to worry about not having a shop to look at it if need be. Luckily I like to work on stuff so its more of a luxury then a necessity

Nice, after hearing about Sean's blown headgasket I am a little nervous taking my car down to tucson, but it seems I have heard of more S cars with blown headgaskets then L's. I got the vapor leaks fixed for the moment, so that is my main achievement. Jason, I will definatly stop by your shop when I am in AZ, I know I will need some stuff. Take it easy,
Jon

2.1 auto
I have been taking my 77 Alfa Spider to Ken for the past four months for engine work. I must say, I couldn't be happier. His prices are more than reasonable, and his workmanship is top-notch. I was worried about buying a classic foreign car because of the maintenance, but Ken has made my purchase well worth it.

Awesome, this is good info. I just got into the Alfa scene ('83 Veloce) and plan on doing as much of my own work as I can, but it's always good to have a local person who knows these cars and works on them.

A big thanks goes out to the person that posted this. My Milano gave up the ghost last night at midnight in tucson. I live in Phoenix and was looking at a large expense to get the car back home. Ken has been great so far with helping me out and hopefully "Pita" will be back on the road soon. Thanks Guys!

LOL, I "named" my car also, but Pita is a little less endearing than "Miss Moneypit"....but no less true I suspect.
My car is at Ken's right now too as a matter of fact, you might have seen it (the red Spider that just had its tank cleaned). I'd be kinda outta luck if not for Ken, as I don't have a place to do "big" jobs now, and I don't really trust it with a non-Alfa person.

Yeah I did see it there...however really didn't have time to look around much at the many he had sitting out there. Had to get back to the airport to get home to Phoenix. She only got the new nickname because I was a little cross with her last night, normally she's "my baby". I got to met Bob (club president) while I was there...and even though I'm in phoenix I would love to come down for some meetings and more so for some group drives. Just miss not having my baby with me...but I know she's in good hands.
