I booked Th, Fr & Sa nights at the Doubletree but I think I'll give the caravan a miss. My Alfa will be on a trailer behind the Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel (real truck don't have spark plugs) and that thing likes I-5 real well. The plan is to take a big step (Vista, CA to Ashland, OR, 780 mi) on day 1, then a little step (Ashland, OR to Seattle, WA) several days later (Yes I have a 2nd driver!). The remaining question is whether or not there is 110 octane leaded fuel available at the race track. That determines which car goes for a ride on the trailer.
I'm starting to look forward to this!
