Caravan to Seattle-Potlatch
Well, been thinkin we should get serious about a drive up to the NorthWest this July.
After a long dinner and plenty of good wine with Randy and Adriene Harris the other nite and here is an idea:
Leave Sunday July 24. stay around Monterey/Carmel Valley
The Blue Sky Lodge (Carmel Valley) where we stayed in 00 is up to $100 a nite but we had a nice BBQ there to save a couple of bucks.
Monday: up to Willits, Eureka area
Tuesday: Lower Oregon,
Wednesday: Arrive at Potlatch late afternoon.
This trip has the longest drive of about 350 miles a day. Plenty of time to eat and drink that evening and sleep in a little before getting back on the road.
