The new hemi dodge is twin spark for mostly emissions reasons, I believe. The hemi combustion chamber (cc) has a fairly large surface area, so to keep hydrocarbons down, they need two burn zones, makes the cc area effectively smaller. The pro's can chime in, but I believe that's the reasoning.
In vintage racing, there will always be someone richer, and someone faster, so as long as I have cars of similar speed around me to fight with, I'm quite happy.
