Sounds like you may want to invest in a mechanical oil press. guage to further test it. The senders that Alfa uses quite often read low and the oil pressure at idle is low anyway but the knocking is certainly a concern. Next time you fire it up you may want to try disconnecting the spark plug wires one at a time. If the knock goes away on one of them you probably have a bad rod bearing (sometimes the knock goes away when the pressure of combustion is removed from that cylinder).
