Yes, if memory serves me, the side marker (parking) lamps that are in the bumper valance come out, not through the back. You need to pry carefully in the longitudinal axis (not up) - 'can't remember but I think forwards and then pop it out. It'll hang with two wires. Pull back small tight rubber boot & replace what looks like a flashlight or instrument light bulb.
