On my S, this end has parted company from its proper location. I discovered it while feeling about for the manual transmission dipstick for the first time.

If anyone knows what these two wires should do and where they should properly terminate, it could greatly simplify solving this problem. Are they involved with throttle switches, or do they have some entirely different function? Don't believe I did this while searching for the transmission dipstick, and the car has been running well during my short period of ownership.

Based on where I found them, I suspect their point of attachment is somewhere on the firewall side of engine or transmission. Then again, since they are about twelve to fifteen inches long, it's possible the correct routing could take them to another area entirely.

I've attached two images for clarification with one arrow pointing to the cover and a second to the insulated terminal end.

As always thanks for any input.
They should be for engine throttle micro switch and should also hook connector to 1-2 gear switch in transaxle and a pressure switch on brake master cylinder. Are they green-white and yellow wires?
