Thumbs up Arosc Time Trial At Fontana

For those of you who attended the great AROSC school at The Streets of Willow this past weekend (Feb 5 & 6) can follow up the adrenalin rush at our upcoming Time Trial Weekend at the California Speedway in Fontana March 19 & 20. AROSC is returning to Parking Lot #14 for a repeat of a successfully held Time Trial Competition. This is the perfect venue for our graduates of Street Performance and Novice Time Trial to hone their skills and take a major step toward receiving their competition license. THERE WILL BE NO RACE GROUP and plenty of seat time (over 2.5 hours) during the weekend.
With assistance provided by SCCA, we will lay out an interesting 1 mile or slightly longer track with at least 1 passing straight.
There will be 3 Time Trial run groups. The 'Novice' Time Trial group (drivers without a AROSC approved competition license) must attend classroom sessions before each run session. Instructors will be available to hop in your car. Check it all out at www.arosc.org.

If you've never had a car on the track, AROSC offers an Intro Course for $20 per day that will provide you with class room instruction and nearly an hour of lead and follow around the track during lunchtime. Instructors will take relatively small groups of cars around the track increasing the lap time by 1/2 to 1 second per lap. After each lap the Instructor will wave off the car immediately behind so that every one will get a chance to drive the correct line as nearly as possible. Most any daily driver will qualify . Check out www.arosc.org for specifics.
