I think the 1984-85 Luigi and Jolly club FIA touring GTV6's are the ultimate
Alfetta GTV's. They won alot of races and the FIA touring car championship
from 1982-1985. They also looked and sounded great. No 4 cylinder Alfa GTV ever screamed like a fully race prepared Alfa V6 2.5!, I know atleast 1 of the Luigi cars and 2 of the Jolly club cars were destroyed when racing back in the 1980's.
The GTV8 didnt do very well at all in racing.
The production GTV6 3.0's from South Africa are the ultimate production Alfa GTV6's.
The Callaway GTV6 twin turbo is second since it was not done directly at the factory(modified
after coming to the USA by Callaway) like the GTV6 3.0's.
