If you're after Dot-approved tyres i don't think there are better choices than Avon ACB10 (I use them on my race GTAm replica with great success - 245/45/13"), try medium, not soft.
There ar ofcourse Hoosier "Dot" approved tyres...we are not allowed using them in our series, but I guess thery're awesome....rediculous as dot-tyres, but anyways...
The Toyo R888 are out of production in 225/45/13"
In semi-slicks there are unfortunately not much choice anymore. Good luck, and go for the Avons, you will not regret
