Matt, the nice thing you have done is to "show and tell" and try to save people enormous wads of money. I tried to do that for rebuilding rear view mirrors but they can't find the water. A company in Palo Alto makes a fortune and turning business away doing what you are doing. One item, I HIGHLY recommend the Eastwood Zinc plating kit that uses 2 D-cell batteries to zinc plate the housings and the brackets. All it takes is wire brushing and about 5 minutes from breaking open the solution to closing it back up. It's great for anthing from fuel lines or brake lines to washers or anything you can submerge with a 2 quart liquid. Rick (Amy Z the printer from Ohio is my niece)
