Problem persists. I replaced the pressure regulator, (after much sweating and trouble with the frozen mounting bolt), and we still die. I guess I won't be going for that Patent on my monkey'd up fuel pressure tester contraption of hoses and compression tester.
One new, key bit of information - The car runs as long as the starter is turning. If I keep the key in the "start" position after the car starts, (only for a little bit), it will idle or Rev.
How would I go about checking the ignition signal to the ECU?
