Greg, please don't misunderstand, I think pretty much all of us think that this superb, and I would think we are all likely to be in awe of what the Alfaholics team produces. From my perspective the quality of the combined restoration and refabrication to produce a modern interpretation (replica) of the GTA is incredible and I would be most happy to give Max a ph call and place an order right now, even if it was the middle of the night for them.
If you have a look at their site this is what you can do, they will build up a GTA rep to your specifications, whether either a stepnose or flushnose car. Trim, mechanical specs up to your choice and budget. How brilliant is that.

The car being showed on this thread, as I have since learnt is actually a 2L but made to look like a 1750 series 2. It is obviously what the owner wanted.
I actually like the alacantra dash, leather seats, choice of steering wheels, and even don't mind the lack of wood on the dash and consol. The battery doesnt bother me, the only thing I am less enamoured with is the checker plate footrest, from a purely aesthetic point to me it is too bling with the rest of the bespoke quality interior. I know race cars use checker plate but I still reckon it looks naff. Perhaps if it had been painted black it might have been a little less obvious.
Anyway it is out of the question financially for me, but I guess there are some lucky buggers out there with the spare cash burning a hole in their pockets and wanting a GTA rep. Dave
