I definitely don't have the spring. So it goes between the door panel and the medium size ring? There should be some tension pushing out the trim so it "stays put?"

The car is a 750, not a 101. A quick eBay search turned up a classic british parts supplier out of the UK that had the lenses and the housing for about 18 British pounds. At least one bit is so-called "obtanium!" ;-)GTD
