I wonder how many cars "MVP" gets? Do they fill up?

Last year, Trackdaze got major sponsorship from the Autobahn VW dealer (Trackdaze does some events for VWoA). They also had several minor sponsors. As for MVP, Mark fills his event up because he constantly sends out emails reminding people to sign up. He has also tied into a couple of the instructors at local clubs, and they help pull people in.
One of the issues with the Alfa events is that they are rarely ever advertised outside the club. If you are having difficulties filling up the track events, it would make sense to cross-market with some other local clubs much like you have done in the past with the Corvette club. The Audi, BMW, Lotus, Ford-Shelby, and Miata clubs all run local trackdays.
Another issue is the timing. To my knowledge, the Alfa club is the only marque club in the area that uses transponders and times the events. It's also the only local marque club to devote Sunday afternoon to time trails. This cuts down on track time and increases event cost which some people might not like. Also, most of the other clubs offer instructors to novice or intermediate drivers. This helps them bring up inexperienced drivers who keep the club alive with new members.
