Hi Adam

And before we completely hijack this thread, I hope I wasn't misunderstood, for I have on a number of occasions contemplated buying a 75, but somehow for me the style of the car todate has never quite jelled. Mind you I suspect that if I drove one like yours or the one that started this thread I could be convinced otherwise. I do love Alfa sedans, and the V6 is pure music !! I also love my 1750GTV but that is another story.

I think you are possibly being a little harsh on the collectability of the 75 especially in comparison to a crappy Ford chook but I also suspect its collectability may be a little time comming yet. GTV6s are only starting to be really appreciated now for what they offered, while the poor old Alfetta still languishes in collectability compared to 105s. And I do like Alfettas having owned both a GT and a early sedan.

Ah yep I am a paid up and fully fledged member of Club Motori Italia (am actually one of the founding members), was previously a member of AROCA for 10 + years and have enjoyed in the past activities with members of ICE. I am on the committee of CMI, so perhaps we may catch up at one of the joint activities during the year. My daily driver these days is a modern Alfa ('03 156 JTS Sportwagon). CMI is pretty active with a full calander of events. Check out our website.

If you wish, PM me to talk Italian car stuff off this thread. Dave
