The Riverside event Judy refers to was in the years of rain for AROSC TT. It seemed it rained every other event for a couple of years. We found that Rain-X worked great on keeping the rain clearing from the windscreen. No wipers required. Helped to have a defroster too.
(hey, Tony A-Z told us he kept the inside windscreen of his Ferrari clean at LeMans by usnig a potato rubbed on the glass. Also had to punch drain holes to keep from drowning too)
I remember Riverside as snow up in Turn 6 and clearing sky in Turn 9, but that was back in the '80s and Judy was only 16 back then.
Giff, too bad you can't get hold of some treaded tires. If you have the Kuhmo, Yoko, Hosier DOT tires you will have enough traction to learn a whole bunch about driving. Your track speeds greatly slow down but you simulate going warp speed.
