33gold, I originally intended to use the 1.7ie plenum, as this would've been easiest, but the motor ran very badly with this set up. I'm still not entirely sure why, but there has been a lot of work done on this motor and it just didn't seem to get enough air into it with that set up. A throttle body per cylinder is the ultimate anyway for breathing, and the carby airbox works fine now that I've made a bigger hole with a 80mm inlet hose connected (I did this after the pic which shows the original diameter hose). It now zips to 8000rpm no probs with a slightly louder, nicer induction noise to boot. Anyone without the airbox set up, and just filters on top of the carbs in my opinion is crazy! I tried many different set-ups (as you can tell by one of my pics) and drive-ability with the filter on top set up was terrible. Amazing noise, but the car wouldn't move 'till 4000rpm plus!
Re- 3rd pic, your right the catch tank connects to the oil breather. I'm glad I've done this, as every few months I clean it out and it's quite dirty. You can image that normally this would end-up back in the engine. Not nice when you've gone to all the effort of pulling things and cleaned everything up!
