Here is another idea for the tps mount.
I've gone the whole hog and gone the full efi route while retaining the carbs as throttle bodies.
Unfortunately I can't take the credit for the actual mount, but I don't believe it's too hard to make.
As you can see in the third pic, I still have a distributor, but the advance has been locked, and the output goes to an ignition module to control the spark. I guess the only downside with this set up is it isn't sequential inj.
I suppose all I'd have to do is weld on the trigger wheel, sensor, and buy a HT distribution block (or whatever it's called?).
Does anyone think this would be worth it? The car runs really well, now after much fiddling, but the economy still isn't great. A work in progress as usual!
Re the MAP Vs TPS argument, I first tried with a MAP sensor, but due to the cam I have installed there was not enough vacuum so it wouldn't work. Also I was told by the dyno guy that on throttle body set ups you are better off with TPS.
