Fuel Filter Question
I'm replacing a bad fuel line on my 1981 GTV-6 and while I was in there I thought I would change the filter too.
Here is my question: both filters have an arrow on them. The one that was on the car had the arrow pointing towards the fuel pump, which is right next to the filter. The direction of gasoline flow is from the tank to the pump to the filter to the engine. Thus, the arrow is pointing in the opposite direction to the fuel flow through the filter.
Should I put the new one in with the same orientation as the prior filter, or was that one in backwards?
