The arrangement on payments depends on how the contract was negotiated. He said that typically, if there is a charge when the track is contracted out, it is a nominal fee (like $5), and typically they do not seek to charge people for watching contracted events, but we need to verify this with our AROC contact. Now, if someone where entering the country club for the day (Autobahn is a country club) and they were not affiliated to a contracted event (spectators are typically considered "affiliated"), then that would be different...
Let's give Carm time to find out...

The reason I asked is that the information about a $50 entry into the track is coming from the same person that back in March told me:

The way it will work will be like this: Those of us that " Register " for the Convention will end up with (2) parking stubs, one will be to enter Autobahn Track for both the "Time Trial and GTA Race", the other stub will be to enter Cantigny Park for the "Concours Event".
Parking for Cantigny Park for anyone without a "free" parking stub will pay $7.
Parking Entry for Autobahn without a "free" entry stub will cost anywhere from $5 - $7.
