Thanks guys, we try really hard.
The rear rust repairs are hopefully done at this point. Heres the work that was done today.
This section is supposed to have one hole for the fuel filler neck......
And here is the damage behind the panel, once it was removed.
And then the rebuild. After rust removal, rust treatment, acid etch primer and cavity wax once sealed up.
Using the old section as a template to make the new.
That replacement section welded in.

The new section was made in two pieces just like the old. It's hard to see but there are some fairly complex bends to this. This is most likely why it was done this way at the factory.
