You may be familiar with Hero Alting, the Bugatti specialist in Germany, then? He displayed a 2900MM recreation at the Essen TechnoClassic show last month. Apparently the Lauren car was used as a template. He used a 6C2500 chassis with a "S10" engine discovered in Italy.

Jim Stokes, in the UK, makes plenty of 8C parts. G&S Valves, also in the UK, makes springs, valves, and dial adjusters.

For Bugatti parts, contact Crossthwaite & Gardiner, and Ivan Dutton - both in the UK.

Racing Green is also producing 2900 replicas, but I've no idea about the quality of their work.
