No he is wrong on that one. He has 0 experience with these chips. I have used and sold these for years now.
Removing the Cat will make the car faster period. But the S has a pretty high flow cat as is.
All the Hp/Torque gains are with a CAT in place.
11hp gain on a S.
I use one in mine and I find the car much better especially on the low to mid.
Very good torque. The car is much much quicker. No real loss of MPG.
Have always had good responses from customers on the chip. Never have had a unsatisfied customer.
The Cat does not have to be removed. If it did I would not bother selling these chips.
Now, removing the CAT would increase hp like I said even with out without a chip it would increase Hp.
So the comment above that a chip only works with it out is false. It is made to work with a CAT and is made to be a moderate chip to run on a street car with standard or performance items.
HP/Torque with CAT converter and stock exhaust system


Rev. limiter from 6500 to 6800 RPM.
