We had a turn out of about eleven or twelve people, three Alfa's since it was bukoo hot and many a Duetto or Giulia did not offer ample interior cooling so the rest drove in modern comfort. My GTV6 has a 135 amp alt and Milano AC so it was very nice when I used it and everyone seemed cool and comfy. Breakfast at the Dulzura Cafe was good, we saw many a bike group, pedal and motorized enjoying the day. The Triumph guys had a group of maybe ten 70's era bikes roaring down the highway and it looked fun. From the cafe we drove east to the museum and rail yard and there were many third gear twisties that brought out the fun in my car and if it were not for the two motorcycle crashes we would have made even better time. I hope there were no fatalities. The train museum and ride were great, we stopped in a tunnel that separates U.S. and Mexico then came back to see some great old steam engine and mail/military/custom cars in the display shop.
Well enough of that, here are some pictures.
