And, to add to Eric's always v good advice, IF your car is equipped with the famous oil pan fin guard, below the pan, you neednt remove. Simply slide a 3/4" pine board (or 1/2" plywood, I cant remember) between the fins and the guard, to add rigidity, yet wood protection to the fins, then you can jack up the steel protective bars with jack without damaging/bending that bracket.........
