Right, but he was fast. Qualifying was spectacular, deCesaris beat Lauda for the pole by .19 seconds at the very end. Lauda the fox knew he just had to wait for deCesaris to make a mistake during the race and he had him. As it turned out Lauda out powered him down Shoreline drive for the pass. Andrea must have had brain fade because he crashed with no one around him.???
