In 6 weeks I am:

- Taking the ferry from Dublin (Ireland) to Wales
- Driving to Dover (UK)
- Taking ferry from Dover to Calais (France)
- Driving to Dusseldorf (Germany)
- Putting the car on an AutoTrain to Verona (Italy)
- Spending time in Venice and Lake Garda and taking in a trip up Stelvio
- then doing it all in reverse

I am very worried about my 1600 making it. That is why I chose to use the autotrain for the bulk of the journey.

I am also fitting an electric fan with manual override, just in case.

I alos have taken out 5* EU breakdown cover. Hopefully if anything happens I can just ring and have the car shipped home and a hire car given to me.
