Some more to report. Found some good troubleshooting info on a Saab site. Dug behind the fuse box to find the relays and fuses. One of the 30 amp fuses (pump?) was thoroughly destroyed. Got a replacement fuse holder and fuse and installed. No dire consequences. Checked the relay. It was good. Checked for 12v to relay. Was there. Jumpered across wires to make pump run. It did. However, it was not putting out any pressure. Does the pump need a bit more positive head to prime itself when it has been running dry? Since I'm not sure what sort of pump it is (gear, vane, ???) I don't know what pump wear can cause. Any ideas out there?
