There is no rubbing at all with the wheels. One can fit a slightly more agressive offset wheel on these cars, but not at a really low height without snagging the fenders in the front under full compression in a turn.
We are a stocking distributor for Team Dynamics. I really like the PRO RALLY wheel because it is so different than most, and is strong for abuse at the track.
The front swaybar mount is reinforced. When I purchased the car there was evidence of repair from the Shankle bar tearing at the mounts. We went in with some plates and reinforced everything. Overall the ride is good, albiet soft in the front with the 22mm torsion bars, and not enough dampening in the car overall with the Bilstiens. When I really push the car, I get more body roll than desired, and a little more weight transition under braking.
The ontrack pic is pre RS springs, and obviously pre wing (anyone need a ride to the airport?) and splitter. The black wheels were 15x7 ET32 STILAUTO, and would catch the fender (oops!) so off they came.
The yellow racer is one of our customers who vintage races here in Seattle. It is a 65 if I recall correctly, as it is a front disc brake car. Very nicely prepared, and a pleasure to watch race.
