I have the rear 'half' of the driveshaft out and the new donuts on either end. The front drive shaft has the driveshaft support still attached and the front donut. The front and rear bolts came out relatively easily but the "bolts' on the driveshafts have no heads and I assume they are pressed in. The front donut on the flywheel side has a 'tube' which has a spring held in with a snap ring. the spring is out but the tube remains with a rubber 'washer' behind keeping the donut from coming off. The front donut does not have a smooth straight hole through the center but resessed differently on both sides. I can not get the donut past the gearlever 'housing' but possibly could if I compress the old donut with the hose clamp method. The only book I have is the Autobooks Alfetta 75-78 autobook (England) and there is no mention or drawing of the parts I am trying to explain. I will try to find a Haynes manual, and thanks for the sugestions.
