But Jim that only makes sense for Series 2 1750's not Series 1.
All Series 1's should have 2 slots (actually + 1 exit). This car is a series 1.
Some Series 2's should have 2 slots (+ 1 exit) like my car.
Somes Series 2's should have 4 slots (+ 1 exit) like 2000's.
And all 2000's should have 4 slots (+ 1 exit).
Remember the indicators were relocated and thus a press tool change. Later on Alfa Romeo had to make another press tool change to get the 4 slots ... surely that means it is impossible to have a no indicator holes (ie Series 1) and 4 slots. Why would they have gone to the extra effort of being able to make in both configurations?
Thus if this car is completed with 4 slots (+ 1 exit) he (FMD159) is going to continually be queried ... at club meets, etc. ... and this is going to be a nice car when completed .
