water pump nuts (or lack thereof)

Hey everybody,

First off, I finally got the engine back in the car! I even did the "impossible" by leaving the trans in the car on the way in and on the way out. It took a bit of coaxing to get it back together, but I attribute that mostly to my lack of clutch alignment tool.

Anywho, I seem to have misplaced the two larger nuts on either side of the main coolant "channel" through the exhaust side of the motor. They're on the upper right corner of the WP (facing the front of the car, rightside up).

They're not the 6mm x 1.0 which are all over the timing cover and WP, and I couldn't find anything loose that would thread on correctly, so I couldn't just go take that to the HW store and match it.

Does anybody by chance happen to recall the size and thread pitch of those two lil buggers?

Mike
