My wife does not drive (by her choice) and does not get the car thing, thus anything I spend on my Alfa is really spending money on me and my hobbie. She does like going for trips, etc. though, so once the Alfa is finished I am sure "my keen-ness to jump into the Alfa and go site seeing" will pay dividends.
