I was under the impression caulking compounds should stay in the bathroom away from cars...it might work though. I guess they are for keeping water where it should be...

My rust was totally removed (I made sure it was) and there is a lot of paint on top of where it used to be...and creating a water tight seal will stop it from coming back..

anyone have any brands of compounds worth using? I thought of seam sealer whaich I have a tube of in the garage? it kind of stays soft...
